“I have had both lunch and dinner at RL-- a grand
experience each time. I've tried lamb (the rack and the
porterhouse), lobster bisque, lobster & bacon club
and desserts. Each was outstanding. Service is efficient,
cordial and unobtrusive. As you'd expect, each detail
is perfectly executed-- lit candles covered with lampshades
at each table and a coordination of color, texture and
art distinctly Ralph's own.There's lots of wood, deep
blue cloth on the walls, buckskin leather seating and
a blend of black and white photos (Mick Jagger, Gary Cooper,
Frank Sinatra, etc.) with old English oils that somehow
works beautifully. The front bar area is vintage RL library-
study decor, complete with working fireplace,bookcases,
etc. If you like his style in clothes and furnishings,
you'll love this place and dine very well.

I heard that RL has new management and boy can you tell!!
The menu has undergone a complete makeover and the food
is very good. The traditional American cuisine fits the
clubby atmosphere of the room. Keep up the good work.

We gave last minute reservations and were received very
pleasantly and welcoming for our party of 6.The food,
wine, ambiance, staff, service ... perfect! We are hoteliers
and also in the food and beverage industry, since we can't
seem to leave work at home, and very easily become critiques
to any restaurant, we were absolutely blown away! We would
definitely return!
